COVID Vaccination - Free Travel

From the very beginning of the vaccination programme in Hamilton and the surrounding area we have been providing free fares for elderly/vulnerable people travelling to get their vaccine.

For many elderly people in our community a vaccination appointment is the only time they have left their home in the last ten months, so this can be a stressful time for them. We believe that relieving the burden of payment can help to reduce their worries as they travel to get their jab.

To ensure the utmost protection en route to the vaccination centre, all of our taxis are now fitted with a plastic protective screen and are regularly santised (especially before all vaccination hires).
