Card Payment Donations

For four weekends between June and July we decided, that for every booking we received via card payment to donate 50p to local charities who have done incredible work in our community during the coronavirus pandemic.

In the first week (20th/21st June) our customers helped us to raise £175 for the Hamilton Covid-19 Warriors who have and are continue to carry out excellent work to help the local community, helping the most vulnerable in our town with necessary food packages and delivering treats to key workers.

The last weekend in June we had 435 credit card bookings, meaning we raised £217.50 for the Fairhill community group who have organised events for the young people in the Fairhill area, helping them through the lockdown. As well as providing food packages to the most hard hit residents in the area.

Again the next weekend, thanks to our incredible customers we were able to donate £238.50 to I Spy A Rainbow which was a charity set up during the lockdown to keep kids entertained by delivering care packages including items such as colouring in packs. They provided children with a little bit of joy at the toughest times so we were delighted to donate this amount to this worthwhile charity who still continue their work today. We also loved the Well-Man Taxi that group founder Tracy's daughter Miryn made for us!

In the last weekend of the 50p donation scheme we donated a remarkable £323 to the local Kilbryde Hospice. The work they do and have continued to do well during the most challenging times is truly incredible. This is a very much deserved donation which we hope will go a long way in providing the much needed care for their patients.
